Following the success of their first production of Hound of the Baskervilles The Seagull Rep company, under the direction of Ann Courtney will transport Jane Austen s romantic comedy Emma on to the dance floor of a wedding. A cast of two, multi rolling, actors will explore this well loved Regency tale of matchmaking and unrequited love on Thursday 2 5 February at the Seagull Theatre, Lowestoft.

As England enters a second COVID lockdown period, Woodbridge School Prep has launched a new ‘Mindful Moments’ campaign, as part of its #Woodbridge4Woodbridge programme. The School will be making a range of ‘Mindful Moments’ videos publicly available on its YouTube channel and across social media – featuring simple-to-follow Mindfulness techniques, such as breathing and reflection – to promote health and wellbeing during lockdown, not just amongst its pupils, but also parents and the wider community.

New dates announced for exhibition inspired by Marvel

The much-anticipated Power of Stories exhibition, which includes a display of sensational costumes from the hit film Marvel Studios’ Black Panther, will now open from 3 April to 29 August 2021. Due to coronavirus restrictions, the exhibition was unable to open in July as planned.

Woodbridge Tide Mill Museum has launched an online shop to sell Tide Mill merchandise without the need for customers to visit the Mill. Like all Charities the Mill has had to come up with alternative ways to maintain some sort of income. The Mill relies on visitors’ entrance fees, donations and Gift Shop purchases to maintain itself. Visiting has been severely curtailed by the Covid pandemic and the need to restrict opening to pre-booked times at the weekend. This has hit gift shop sales hard so this online shop will be a big boost.
