Best paw forward for charity dog walk *EVENT CANCELLED*
Local hearing care specialists, The Hearing Care Centre have announced a return of their special charity dog walk as part of the Suffolk Walking Festival - helping to raise funds for Hearing Dogs for Deaf People.
The 3.5 mile route will lead walkers through the rolling countryside, down into Broke Hall Woods and along the beautiful River Orwell and promises to be a treat for four-legged friends and owners alike.
The morning stroll will take place on Saturday 16th May 2020 at 9.30am where a hot breakfast roll and cup of tea will be served at The Ship, Levington.
Audiologist and Managing Director Karen Finch, who herself has a Cockapoo, said “Whether you have a dog or not, we would love for you to join us. It is set to be a fantastic event with support from local businesses: Swiss Farm, Deben Inns, Skinner’s Pet Foods and Tesco Ipswich Extra. Enjoying a spot of breakfast and a breath of fresh air whilst raising money for a fantastic charity – what could be better?!”
Tickets for the event are £10 which includes breakfast, bottled water and doggie treats. Anybody can take part and dogs are not compulsory.
