Suffolk business woman receives prestigious industry recognition
Marketing and communications agency Relish are delighted to announce their co-founder and Managing Director, Emma Lloyd, has been awarded with the fellowship membership status (FCIM) from The Chartered Institute of Marketing. Her senior strategic experience and business success has led to her receiving the highest level of membership available and will be used in her continued dedication to provide a range of first-class marketing services to Relish’s clients.
Emma’s career began at Aviva Insurance where for over 20 years she specialised in credit management, process efficiency and the performance management of staff. Also a professionally trained image consultant, Emma’s approachable manner, combined with strong business acumen, marketing expertise and copy writing skills, led to her being asked to write regular style columns for both online and printed publications, including the regional East Anglian Daily Times newspaper.
Emma explains, “Having worked with a number of SMEs and not-for-profit organisations over many years, helping them develop their communications and marketing offering, it is a genuine honour to have been granted FCIM membership by the marketing professions most highly regarded international body.”
Relish clients include the Suffolk charity Alde and Ore Estuary Trust, London-based hairdressers Taylor Taylor and Aldeburgh Jubilee Hall.
Emma’s extensive marketing skills, combined with a clear vision and ability to make innovative and creative decisions, allow her to identify the strengths and values of businesses to showcase their unique identity and enhance success.
Emma concludes, “In today’s highly competitive, commercial environment, marketing is more essential to business activity than ever. With the continuing digital evolution and differing methods of communication, it is imperative for marketing professionals to keep up to speed to ensure voices are heard, messages are clear and both customers and staff understand which they should engage, visit, support or trade with you.
Founded in 1911, the Chartered Institute of Marketing is the world’s leading professional marketing body with over 30,000 members worldwide. In 2019 the Prince of Wales, Prince Charles, became the new Patron of the Institute. The level of fellow (FCIM) is specifically designed for Senior Directors and Marketing Consultants, meaning Emma’s 20+ years experience was stringently assessed and validated for this prestigious level of membership.
