Shattered

May 6-16 - The Avenue Theatre

Shattered is the Red Rose Chain's beautiful new show coming to The Avenue in May. It combines all the enchantment of The Magic Fishbone with the immersive feel of Theatre in the Forest to create a spellbinding experience in Joanna Carrick's new adaptation of The Snow Queen!

Mixing humour, stunning visuals and live animation, Shattered explores the real issues of cyber bullying and e-safety today, as well as celebrating the amazing advantages of modern technology, in an imaginative and innovative way.

Using her experience as a successful playwright and mum of a 9 year old, Jo has combined the myth of The Snow Queen with the story of a boy becoming obsessed with Minecraft and a girl becoming embroiled in a web of lies on Facebook, to create a captivating new play aimed at 9-12 year olds - encouraging conversation as they start to negotiate their way through their teens.

Shattered is the perfect family show, there are only a limited number of public showings available - so book now to secure your preferred Friday/Saturday performance!
