Bruisyard Hall teams up with The Turks Head
for Medieval Feast
As part of the 2017 Aldeburgh Food & Drink Festival fringe events programme, Bruisyard Hall has teamed up with The Turks Head in Hasketon to put on a Medieval Feast for just 24 diners on 4th October.
The sumptuous menu prepared by The Turks Head’s expert chef, Mauli Dwivedi, includes a range of show-stopping dishes made from the best local ingredients, including: Blythburgh Suckling Pig, Aspic glazed pike, Tide Mill flour trencher bread, Gressingham Duck ragu and Muntons malt sticky pudding.
The event will take place in the dining room of the historic Bruisyard Hall, which dates back to 1354. Tickets for the feast are £65 with the option to add on bed and breakfast at the Hall from £150.
Mauli Dwivedi has an award winning global profile. He trained in classic French cooking in India. His early career was under the guidance of Antonio Carluccio and, following a move to England in the early 2000’s, he’s built an enviable resume at restaurants across the UK. His most recent position was as Head Chef at the Black Lion in Long Melford where he cemented his reputation for top quality locally sourced dishes.
